Reflect on each groups video about stereotypes and tell what they did well, what they could have done better. As well as reflect on the group setting and the technology portion of this assignment.
Group 1: This video was my groups video. Our video was well thought out and we had started planning well in advance of the actual time for filming. We were able to assign nights to each person and make sure that we had all of the videos we would need and have backup plans if something fell through. We were able to work together well enough to not have a problem with stepping up and voicing our opinions to each other. I feel, that if we had more time we would have been able to polish it up a little more to where we were super ready to present it without any flaws. Our group was able to mesh together fairly well and not have a problem with working as a group. The technology portion was fairly easy for us to understand and everyone was able to grasp simple things of the editing process.
Group 2: Courtney's group video grasped the work of the real life and spontaneous interviews. They had a well range of answers and had asked people on the spot to get the truth. They did that factor really well. They had pulled random people in the hall way and in gym class and asked them without first telling them the questions. Although they had pulled thought out interviews they range of people wasn't as far as expected. They only had a few people that they had interviewed and had used majority of the questions they asked one person. To make it better they could have proofed their video to make sure that all edits were polished and the time was the same. Also, to pick better interviewing locations where it would be easier to understand the answers to the questions. Their technology seemed to be an issue to where it had cut off a minute of their time. The audio was also hard to understand in certain parts due to the location of the interviews.
Group 3: Sam's group video had really played the visual aspect well. They had little short videos to go along with their descriptions of stereotypes. And by the end of the video they had transformed the videos with positive descriptors about each gender. They also had different ranges of people that they had interviewed and also put themselves into the video in various ways. They seemed to get along well in their group and were able to get the video done on time considering the limit. Although, the video seemed choppy and had had some lagging behind of mouths to words. They also had some trouble with making a lengthy video. To make it better, the group could've added a few other perspectives of interviews. They mostly had teachers around the school and a few students. They could've expanded the interviews to outside of school and asked a few grandparents and a few more friends.
