"Who is an adult?", is a circulating question in this society today. Many think that an adult "is someone who accepts responsibility, makes independent decisions, and becomes financially independent". However, times are constantly changing and being able to make important decisions for themselves does not make them an adult. Teens can make decisions for themselves but does not mean they should be classified as an adult. If a teen has a teen pregnancy and decides to keep it does not mean they are an adult because they chose that. Adults are people who can think through their actions beforehand and then act accordingly. Adults realize that not every situation needs a reaction and are mature enough to handle it. Not just to be able to decide an aspect in their lives.
Adults who feel they are in an "in-between" stage feel that they are not a teenager but not yet a full adult. They are emotionally independent but not able to be financially stable on their own. They shouldn't be fully expected to be 100% stable on their own when they are just coming up into their 20's. They should just be getting into the understanding of life.
